6 German Intralogistics Startups To Watch at LogiMAT 2026

AI, Supply Chain Management

This month will see many of the world’s intralogistics and process management professionals congregate in Stuttgart for one of the top trade shows for this industry: LogiMat 2026. It’s sure to be a fascinating event thanks to the pace of innovation currently taking place in intralogistics – from increasingly intuitive robot and IoT systems automating warehouse material flow, to AI platforms optimising how supply chain and inventory data is collected and analysed.

Germany has established itself as a leading hub of intralogistics startups, which is why one of the big themes of this year’s LogiMat event is “Innovation Made in Germany”. Numerous German startups will be showcasing their products under this banner, representing a range of fields within intralogistics. Here are some of the notable up-and-coming businesses which will be among them.

KELO Robotics

Based in Augsburg, KELO Robotics is a developer of autonomous mobile robots for warehouses which leverage AI to collaborate with human staff. These include forklifts, pallet movers, and lift & carry models designed to handle especially bulky items, as well as modular robotic components which can be assembled like vast Lego bricks to create customised robots for specific environments. The startup prides itself on the efficiency of its designs, which have a much larger payload to weight ratio compared to most warehouse robots, allowing them to function on less energy than other models on the market.

Pelora

Developments in sensor and IoT technology are radically accelerating intralogistics processes, and one company establishing itself in this space is Pelora. Headquartered in Erlangen, its platform allows the precise tracking of wearables, headphones, smartphones, smart tags and IoT devices to provide real-time visibility in warehouse environments. Staff, pallets, vehicles and tools can all be continuously located, enabling the smarter deployment of devices and smoother employee handovers. The highly scalable nature of the platform, which can encompass thousands of devices at the same time, is key to the company’s ambition to render indoor spaces “as transparent and easy to navigate as the digital world.”

doks.solution

Kassel-based doks.solution has developed stock taking and inventory management solution for warehouses. Its drones can operate without the need for human operators, flying around warehouses to read barcode labels, take photos and export data to software platforms. The startup also provides the “doks.gate” solution for autonomously scanning and documenting inventory as its loaded and unloaded at warehouses – another example of how intelligent sensor technology is streamlining indoor processes and making the supply chain as seamless as possible.

Stenova Technologies

One of the more unsung aspects of the supply chain process is the secure cushioning of inventory by way of packaging fillers. This is the niche occupied by Stenova Technologies, a Nittendorf-based startup which has developed a decentralized solution for filler production on-site at packing stations. Its EvolutionFILL machines produce industrial amounts of recyclable, paper-based filler material which can be automatically fed into packing by way of weight-controlled dosing technology, and can be easily incorporated into a business’s existing packing stations and shipping lines.

CeiliX

One way to maximise the use of a warehouse space is to commandeer the ceiling, and this is the focus of CeiliX. Headquartered in Euskirchen, the company wants to liberate industrial spaces from “the limitations of the floor”. This is done through a modular rail system which can be attached to ceilings, allowing omnidirectional overhead cranes to carry inventory around obstacles like pillars and pipes. It’s also developing ceiling-based robots, which fundamentally transforms how automated guided vehicles and autonomous mobile robots function in warehouses, bringing floor space savings of up to 50%.

numi

AI-powered supply chain software is sure to be a major focus of LogiMat 2026, and one standout German startup in attendance will be numi. Based in Munich, its platform provides a holistic interface for demand planning, inventory optimisation, AI-based forecasting and automated decision making. Real-time analysis of logistics data means that businesses can reduce the likelihood of stockouts, evaluate inventory profitability and run simulations to gauge planning decisions before executing them in reality.

“As in every year, LogiMat will present a high number of innovations in all segments of intralogistics and digital supply chain solutions,” says Oliver Rupps, our Sector Principal for logistics, digital logistics solutions and tech-enabled supply chain management. “AI dominates the software sector and it will be exciting to see the progress here. Sensors and automation are also important topics, with automated guided vehicles and autonomous mobile robots playing increasingly critical roles by enabling efficient workflows and processes through intelligent control.”

If you’re attending LogiMat, Oliver would be delighted to schedule time for a one-to-one conversation. Please reach out directly to let Oliver know of your availability and to arrange a chat.
